Whats Wrong with “European Universalism”?
Even well-educated and culturally sensitive people often remain caught within a frame of mind which seems “self-evident” to them. The document, given its complexity and theological depth, is both extraordinary and provocative.

The Real Issue of the G8/G5 Summit in LAquila: An Unipolar Monetary System in a Multipolar World for How Long?
In LAquila an era has ended which began 34 years ago in Rambouillet near Paris. The trilateral World Economic Summits of the USA, Europe and Japan are history. Now China, India, Brazil, South Africa and Mexico and the G8 are meeting on an equal footing. The G8 has become the G8/G5. Inevitably, the question arises why the US dollar should remain the single world reserve currency?
