Il s’agit de quelques paroles de la plus récente chanson des Rolling Stones, sous le titre Sweet Neo Con. La chanson attaque également Condoleeza Rice. Personne ne peut nier qu’il s’agit d’une claire attaque contre l’administration GW Bush et sa politique.
En riant, Mick Jagger déclare dans Newsweek (selon une citation du Drudge report): « It is direct… Keith [Richards] said, “It's not really metaphorical.” I think he's a bit worried because he lives in the U.S. But I don't. »
Le groupe rock commence une tournée mondiale à Boston le 21 août. Jagger, intarissable comme d’habitude, nous confie: « I feel very much at home in America. I've spent half my adult life here. I have many personal feelings. But I'm from the school that considers it impolite to comment on other people's elections.
