Dans le même numéro de F.A. on peut lire sous la plume de Z. Brzezinski un article-programme “Balancing the East, Upgrading the West” (la modestie n’a jamais étouffé ZB…) qui contient la phrase suivante: “First the United States should reassess its reconnaissance operations on the edges of Chinese territorial waters, as well as the periodic US Naval patrols within international waters that are also part of the Chinese economic zone. They are as provocative to Beijing as the reverse would be to Washington.”
Cette dernière phrase est particulièrement intéressante: peu de (géo-)politiciens américains (vous avez déjà cité Ron Paul à propos de l’Iran) sont aujourd’hui capables d’un tel accès de lucidité empathique.
