543Le milliardaire US Donald Trump, en général qualifié par la presse plus ou moins people d’“excentrique”, est inquiet de l’état des USA et envisage de se présenter à la présidence pour sauver ce pays. «Somebody has to do something, we are losing this country…», dit-il avant d’expliquer qu’il est pour la première fois en train d’examiner très sérieusement cette possibilité qui lui a été souvent suggérée par ses amis. Cela s’appelle aussi bien “faire don de sa personne” au pays que “céder à l’amicale pression de ses amis”. Cela entretient surtout la rubrique du désarroi politique aux USA et renforce par ailleurs, d’une façon éventuellement sérieuse, l’idée d’une candidature “hors parti”, ou d’un “troisième parti” comme évoquée par Thomas Friedman.
Dans la présentation qu’il fait des déclarations de Donald Trump ce 6 octobre 2010, le Daily Telegraph n’omet surtout pas de citer les déclarations de sympathie de Donald Trump pour Tea Party.
