565Une première manifestation du nouveau gouvernement britannique dans une situation sensible, celle de la crise de l’attaque israélienne contre la “flottille” humanitaire. Une position remarquablement dure (pour les Britanniques) contre Israël, avec un appel du secrétaire au Foreign Office, William Hague, à lever le blocus de Gaza. Cette position contraste avec l’attitude du gouvernement précédent et se démarque nettement de la position US. (Marque de la nouvelle politique des special relationships, “solid but not slavish relatuonships” ?)
C’est l’ancien ambassadeur britannique Craig Murray, devenu un activiste très actif, qui met en évidence cette position sur son site, le 31 mai 2010. (Voir aussi le site du gouvernement britannique.)
