BHO, ou la guerre sans divertissement

Il existe dans le grand domaine de la politique internationale une “Obama-fatigue”, un peu comme, en France, l’on ressent une “fatigue-Hollande” consécutive à la performance toute entière marquée par une blétitude affirmée et sans fin de notre président-poire. Tout cela ne fait pas très sérieux et, d’ailleurs c’est exactement de cette façon, sans beaucoup de sérieux, qu’il faut prendre le cas. Ainsi ferons-nous petit cas, dans notre considérable fatigue de la chose, de la dernière déclaration de guerre en date du POTUS de service.

Il est donc arrivé à nos oreilles qu’Obama a fait un Très-Grand discours, type État de l’Union (du Monde). Pour le 11 septembre moins un jour, cela s’imposait. C’est au travers de ce discours que nous évoquerons rapidement cette nouvelle déclaration de guerre aux méchants, après les avoir préalablement équipés et chargés de missions diverses pour, comme on dit, “raison garder” (c’est-à-dire, donner du sens à tout ce bordel). Nous ne doutons pas que tout est prévu, l’attaque contre Assad, le largage d’un nouvel oléoduc de type-qatari, d’un nouveau Meccano détaillant la formule Stealth et updated 4.0 ou 5.0 du Très-Grand-Moyen-Orient, éventuellement un petit accrochage avec les Russes pour faire bien dans le tableau et rappeler que Kiev-guignol lutte pour la liberté, et peut-être bien Prince Bandar en commandant-en-chef adjoint avec le détachement de Rafale français affectés à cette belle et bonne guerre sous son autorité.

Présentant le discours d’Obama, avec nombre de passages surlignés de jaune par lui-même, Spencer Ackerman, du Guardian donnait ce 11 septembre 2014 ce titre et ce sous-titre : «Illegal? Irrational? Irrelevant? Obama's Isis address falls down on every front – Barack Obama's announcement last night about the war against the Islamic State (Isis) – which he prefers to call Isil – was filled with euphemisms, questionable statements, caveats, omissions and even the occasional truth. Here's an annotated version of the speech to serve as a guide to the fine print.»

Du dit-discours, dont nous avons pris le texte sur Vox.com le 10 septembre 2014, nous extrayons ces quatre paragraphes qui résument assez bien le degré de fantasmagorie, de banale stupidité, d’emphase lassante à force d’arrogance en fer-blanc, – ou comment le Système est si content de lui-même, par le biais d’un serviteur zélé et appointé. Il n’est même pas nécessaire de mentionner ISIS ou ISIL, ou ce qu’on veut, pour en être convaincu.

Ce sera notre façon de commémorer dignement, one day later, le fameux jour du 11 septembre. «See you in hell, brother» (*) (dernière réplique de Burt Lancaster, dans le film Elmer Gantry, le charlatan).
